Extended Care Program |

In order to meet the needs of St. John's school families, before and after school care is offered to children three-years-old through eighth grade who attend our school. A curriculum planned by the Extended Care staff facilitates positive growth through hands-on experiences and age appropriate play opportunities. |

• Extended Care is designed to accommodate all families whose children are enrolled in St. John's School. Child care is available between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on days when school is in session.
• Before School Care includes free choice play, games, and an optional nutritious breakfast.
• During the day, Extended Care includes activities based upon classroom themes, holidays, and seasons. Children are given time to play, use computers, do art projects, play outside or in the gym, cook, and a variety of other teacher-directed activities. A sack lunch and drink are required for lunch time. Rest time is from 2:00-3:00 p.m. daily.
• After School Care includes an optional snack, homework, large motor or outside play, group games, cooking, computers, and a variety of other age appropriate activities..
• The program is planned and monitored by a professional educator. School curriculum is supported and supplemented where viable.

Hours
• Open Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-6:00 p.m. when school is in session
• Open during early dismissal days.
• Closed when school is not in session.
• Closed in the event of emergency school closings (inclement weather, etc.).
