Eagles Enrichment Classes
PTO needs volunteers to share a talent with our students on Thursday’s from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30p.m. You can offer a class that will be finished in one day or a few weeks. Don’t think you have a talent? Well how about offering a dance class, a yoga class, an exercise class geared towards children, crochet or knitting class, wood working, kite building, homework club, story telling, craft making, cookie decorating and the ideas go on and on. We have been blessed with volunteers but as we would like this to be a weekly offering for the entire school year we still need you. Please prayerfully consider sharing with our students and pick up a registration form outside the school office or church narthex. We welcome parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, congregation members, older siblings, etc. Our goal is to begin classes in November, so please send in your registration forms ASAP. Campbell's Labels for Education
Have you seen the Labels for Education UPC codes on your favorite Campbell’s products? The PTO is asking that you carefully cut out these special labels and return them to school or church Narthex in a baggie with your child’s name and grade on them. You can find these special labels on items like V-8 drinks, Campbell’s soups, Spaghettio’s, Franco American, Pepperidge Farm, Swanson and Prego products. With these labels we will be able to order gifts that can be enjoyed by the students of St. John’s. If you have any questions please contact Deborah Zafar.

Ronald McDonald House Charities
 The PTO has set up a special 4 gallon water bottle for tab collection, so the children will be able to see how much their donations make a difference. It is our goal to have at least two full water bottles to send with the class going to Ronald McDonald House in April, together we can do this. You can find this tabs on soup cans, tea cans, soda cans, other easy pull food cans. Ask your family, friends and neighbors to help with this project. Please save these tabs in baggies and return them to school or the church Narthex as you collect them. Not only is it a blessing to Ronald McDonald House but a help to our environment. |

Box Tops for Education
 The PTO needs all families collecting box tops. Make sure you ask your grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors to collect box tops for your class too. The class that collects the most box tops each month will host Sparky until next months winner is determined. We have collection sheets available in the school office. Put your collected box tops in the school or the church Narthex collection box. Please be sure to put your child’s name and grade on them. All the special bonus tops need to go in a separate baggy with your child’s name and grade on them. Please help us reach our goal of $2,000.00 for this school year so we can all enjoy a silly event preformed by our own incredible Dr. Block. Watch the Wings and website for more information.. |

Online Shopping Fundraiser
 Do you shop online? If you do, you can now help the PTO raise money for the Face Of The Future Fund while making your normal purchases. Go to www.igive.com or www.cvn.com (Christian Values Network) and register to support St. John’s Lutheran School PTO, LaGrange. When you log into these sites and shop at the many available stores (i.e. Best Buy, Wal Mart, J.C Penny, Marshalls, etc.) we will receive a portion of your purchase.
