 Greetings in Christ - Christmas Card & Note Card Sale to Benefit the Louisiana Bayous
St. John's Lutheran Church HOPE Teams are repeatedly helping to recover homes on the Louisiana Bayous, heavily battered by Hurricanes Rita, Gustav and Ike. In spite of setbacks and frustrations, the people of the Bayous are not giving up! They will fight for sustainable coastal wetlands to preserve their ancestral home.
Proceeds from our 2008 card sale will purchase construction materials as volunteers, through Bayou Grace Community Services, help rebuild hurricane-damaged homes. St. John's Sanctuary Angels Christmas card features the angels created by Pastor David Smith and Andy Chizzo this past Christmas. The back of the card is a memorial to Pastor Smith and his enthusiastic involvement in the work of our HOPE Teams.
Greetings in Christ is a ministry offering a variety of greeting cards that benefit renewal and recovery while remembering all who share the Gospel as they serve those in need.

 Hot Lunch Program
The Hot Luch Program offers healthy delicious meals to students. You can order your child’s lunches, weekly, monthly or three months at a time. All orders must be submitted to the student’s teacher by the Wednesday of the month/week prior the lunches. Please contact Deborah Zafar if you have any questions.
